All of your body ached.

Every inch right down to the tips of your fingers.

It was really hard to move as well, like your whole body had weights that pinned you against the floor.

God, just where were you?

“Augh..” You wanted to speak, you wanted to shout out and ask what the hell happened to you. Just as your lips parted to harshly spit that question out, you heard a gasp.

“O-Oh no.” It was definitely a woman's voice.

“Oh god...It can't be...A woman from the modern age?” You felt yourself being lifted into the air, something snagging you by the shirt. You were afraid to open your eyes, but curiosity beat your fear...and as your orbs opened to find out where you were, you were met by a giant face of a woman with olive skin whose hair was yanked back into a ponytail.

“AHHHHH!”

Your first thought was to scream and throw a punch as defense, but the woman pulled you back so you couldn't hit her. “Calm down, little fella! It's all good, I won't hurt you!”

“Fella?! I am a lady!” You squeak, legs kicking and fists flying.

“Well, if you keep thrashing like that, I'm gonna accidentally see up your little skirt!” She retorted, still holding you a good distance from her visage.

“Where am I?! What happened?! Why are you bigger than me?! Where's Levi?!” The woman's expression of confusion faded and she nodded to herself. “Ah..so that's how you got here.”

As gentle as she could, she placed you on a nearby chair and crouched so she could analyze your features. “Welcome to the Survey Corps Headquarters. I'm Hanji Zoe, a scientist that works here. My job is to figure out more about the titans and help save Humanity. You got here by traveling through an invention of mine that I made specifically for Erwin, Levi and Mike. Anyone going into your world from ours shrinks in size, anyone from your world that comes to ours, also shrinks in size.”

Her chocolate irises watched as you raced through a series of emotions: Confusion, surprise, fear, anxiety...She could spot it all.

“I'm tiny...L-Like Levi was? I'm in another world?!”

“Well..” Her index finger scratched the side of her cheek. “Not necessarily another world...but a different time. It does feel like another world here though, you will definitely experience a whole new way of living until you grow again.”

“Hanji...is it? W-What am I in for?” Her mouth opened to tell you, though a grimness seemed to take over her sun kissed visage after a moment. “There's no way to really describe it...You'd have to see for yourself..”

You felt your stomach churn and the hairs on the back of your neck stood as a response to her grim tone. The pain that reflected in her eyes like a flickering flame showed you that this world was one you would rather not be in.

“Where's Levi..” You questioned as her pain was once again locked away within her soul and a grin replaced her frown. “Levi! Yes! You must be the one who cared for him! He's quite the hassle so I thank you for that, but he is in his office. He seemed more grumpy than usual, I'm assuming that has to do with you.”

Honestly, you didn't know if that was the case. He had left on his own accord...You didn't know if he was thinking about you still. But you found yourself not caring too much.

You came here to see him...To figure out what your feelings were and what exactly you were involved in. “Alright..I'll go see him..” You start walking only to fall off the edge of the chair.

“Ah!” Hanji cupped her hands just in time for you to land right in them, your mind whirling within your skull. “Wooooah, there. You're small, remember?” You let out a huff in response leaving Hanji to chuckle.

Nostalgia washed over you as she placed you up on her shoulder, times of doing that with Levi flashed before your eyes. “Ah~ Maybe we could do this with titans one day! I would love to sit on their shoulder and watch the world go by, ya know? Maybe I can tame one soon, how amazing would that be? I think It would be absolutely stunning! Then we can all live happily and-”

You cut out her voice, eyebrows knitting together at the drool seeping from the corner of her lips. Well, that's not something you'd normally see, that's for sure.

“You know what else stuns me? Levi's interest in a city girl like yourself! He normally despises those who live in cities but then again, our city is different than your city.”

The only word that caught in your ear was 'interest'. What did she mean by that? With all the blabbering she was doing, it was hard to tell what she meant. You just wanted to go see Levi and find out what was happening...You only knew so much. You wanted to know more.

“Leeeeviiii!” The brunette called out while rapping on his door, you heard a grunt and then the sound of boots moving to let in the nuisance. “Wha-...”

For a moment, you could see a spark of surprise and...relief...in those normally cold orbs. But like always, he settled back into his facade. You had chased him...that tugging he felt when he transported , was you. He was thankful for a moment, caught up in the bliss of ignorance...but you were in a world he rather you not be in.

A world of constant pain and fear. Your glowing eyes were something he cherished so if you saw any of that, that beautiful light would most definitely fade. “{Name}..” He reached out his hand so you could crawl in it, Hanji slightly offended by how comfortable you were with the male already.

You sat snug in the middle of his palm, cheeks puffing in anger. “You left.” He let out a 'tch', turning his head away. “..I know. You can't be here though, got it? I left for a reason.” He settled you in Hanji's palms. “Hanji, send her back.” You could tell he was trying hard to detach himself from you but you could also tell that he was grateful to you and didn't truly wish for you to leave.

“You don't understand, Levi. That's impossible in her state. If I send her back, she'll die.” Levi almost quit breathing. She shouldn't throw something like that around..”What do you mean..”

“I mean, her body will disintegrate. She has to wait until she's full grown again! No other option.”

You flinched at those words, body breaking out in goosebumps. Ouch. That didn't sound like fun at all.

“Alright then. Who the hell is caring for her?” Hanji held out your little body to him, a grin plastered on her lips. “You! Might as well return the favor.” He was about to disagree but he knew better than to be ungrateful. It was the least he could do. You could tell that his anger subsided and he allowed you to sit in his hands once again.

“Fine. Hanji, get me some food for her. She likes something called..uh, ramen? Yea, ramen in a foam cup.” Was he making fun of your insta-noodles!? Why, if you weren't so small you would...! Y-You would...kiss him until you couldn't breathe anymore.

ACK!

What were you thinking!? Your face heated up, heart pounding hard against your chest at those rather embarrassing thoughts.

You didn't even know that Hanji had ran off to get your meal and that you were being delicately placed on his desk. “I have to work.” His voice shook your being, body craving more of his attractive vocals. But of course, you forced those cravings away, a determined expression on your features.

He didn't know why your chest was puffed up or why your eyebrows were scrunched together in determination...but he found himself adoring it. Especially now that your height was merely a few inches.

He cleared his throat, pen scribbling away when Erwin opened the door to his office, icy orbs spotting your frame and then meeting Levi's.

“Levi. I need to have a word with you.” He spoke gruffly, Levi eyeing you before he headed toward the door where his Commander stood. The door creaked to a close, Erwin looking down upon Levi.

“Why is she here.”

“She found us. She'll be sent back soon, Erwin. Right now she needs to grow or else the travel will kill her. She's in my care right now.”

“...Don't get attached..You know better. You will have to leave her behind for she needs to return home soon. You can't let your emotions take you over, of course, I know you know this already. So, just don't get attached..”

A moment of silence, raven bangs shading steel eyes.

“I won't.”

Yaaaaaaaay~ It's up! I really wanted to post this because I start school tomorrow and I wouldn't be able to post until the weekend. So yes! I really hope you enjoyed the chapter. Things are getting abit bumpy..
